About the Cruzan Amphitheater (Formerly the Sound Advice Amphitheater) Located in Southern Florida, this entertainment facility provides covered seating for 7,500 music patrons and can accommodate an additional 13,000 concert attendees on the sloped grass berm adjacent to the facility. Designed and supplied by Butler Heavy Structures, the structure features a diamond shaped canopy which rises 46' above the floor line. Trussed, rigid frames, which span from 160' to 240' across, provide the primary support. Conventional bar joists spanning from 40' to 60' serve as the secondary framing members.
