Antique & Classic Vehicle & Shreveport Fire Fighters Museum
Visitors to this museum have the opportunity to see a wide range of antique automobiles, including motorcycles and fire trucks. A number of other antique items such as radios, tools and memorabilia are on display.
Louisiana State Exhibit Museum
Emphasizing the northwest region of Louisiana, this museum collects and exhibits historical and cultural artifacts and art of Louisiana. They also have a Native American artifact exhibit.
Meadows Museum of Art - Centenary College
This museum of art was started as a donation by an alumnus of Centenary College, and has grown since then. There is a permanent collection, including the Despujols Collection, which chronicles the artist's journey through Indo-China. There is also a variety of changing exhibits.
Sci-Port Discovery Center
Spring Street Museum
Open Tuesday through Saturday, the Spring Street Museum explores the history and development of northwest Louisiana. Featured items include military uniforms, firearms, clothing, furnishings and Civil War artefacts.
Stephens African American Museum
This theatre hosts a variety of different performers every year from plays and musicals, to orchestras and musical concerts.
American Rose Center Gardens
The American Rose Center Gardens, entirely dedicated to roses, features winding paths, streams and thousands of roses. The gardens are open from April to October.
Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park
Covering 160 acres of area and featuring five miles of nature trails, Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park offers a range of recreational opportunities including hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Naturalists provide nature-related programs by appointment.
